Riccia fluitans is a floating liverwort prized for its bright-green branching growth that can float or be tied to hardscape. It works especially well in the floating or attached foreground accent, where thoughtful spacing and routine maintenance help it develop its best shape and color.

For best results, trim regularly and secure submerged portions with mesh or thread because the plant does not attach by true roots. Acclimate the plant gradually, remove damaged growth, and maintain consistent water quality while new roots and shoots establish.
