A little know-how. A better aquascape.

Rimless aquariums, chosen around your space and aquascape.

Think beyond the gallon number.

A rimless aquarium frames plants, fish and hardscape with clean glass lines. The proportions matter as much as the volume: a shallow tank emphasizes open space and emergent planting, a cube makes a compact focal point, and a longer classic format gives you room to build depth across the layout.

Explore NA rimless aquariums, WIO Vistas formats and selected Waterbox systems in the current range. Check the exact length, width, height and included components of the variant you choose. Product availability, collection options and delivery requirements are shown on the individual listing.

Plan the complete installation.

Allow space for the stand, filter hoses, lighting and access for maintenance. Follow the aquarium manufacturer’s support and leveling instructions, including any required mat or matched cabinet. A level, suitable support is part of the setup, not an optional finishing detail.

Consider the plants you want to grow before choosing the aquarium’s depth, then match lighting and substrate and hardscape to the footprint. For a custom layout or help planning the room, explore our freshwater aquarium design and installation services.

Good questions. Clear answers.

What is a rimless aquarium?

A rimless aquarium has exposed glass edges without the bulky top trim of a traditional framed tank. It gives an open view of the aquascape. Follow the specific model’s setup instructions and do not alter its structure.

Should I choose a shallow, cube or classic aquarium?

Choose around the layout and available space. Shallow formats emphasize the footprint and water surface; cubes suit compact focal points; classic rectangular tanks offer more vertical room. Check the actual dimensions and livestock needs before deciding.

Does my aquarium need a leveling mat?

Follow the aquarium manufacturer’s instructions. Some models include a fitted mat or specify a particular support system. Do not assume the same mat or stand setup applies to every rimless aquarium.

Are cabinets and equipment included?

It varies by product and variant. Read the included-items list for the aquarium, cabinet, mat, filtration and lighting. If the listing is unclear, contact us before ordering.
