The IO Acrylic Series CO2 Diffuser is the innovative approach to In-Tank CO2 injection due to the new Nano CO2 Mist Technology ceramic membrane! CO2 passes through its porous surface and then is dissolved readily into streams of tiny bubbles, providing your plants with everything to thrive.

Our New IO Acrylic Series CO2 Diffuser optimizes the amount of carbon dioxide being injected into the tank for efficient absorption of this gas for plants and therefore less waste. Aquatic plants provided with stable CO2 injection and fertilizing will show their best in terms of health and coloration.

The acrylic body of the diffuser is designed to blend into the aquatic environment perfectly thanks to its small size and transparency. 

The Nano CO2 Mist Technology membrane is replaceable and easy to reinstall. The diffuser is compatible with all our CO2 resistant tubing and the kit contains also two high-quality suction cups for stable diffuser positioning on the aquarium glass. 

Depending on your aquarium volume, you can choose the best model of IO Acrylic Series Diffuser:

  • Small for tanks below 40G (150L)
  • Large for tanks above 40G (150L)

Diffuser Use                                      

To use this CO2 atomizer diffuser, simply connect your CO2 resistant tubing to the diffuser.

It is recommended that you set the pressure on your CO2 regulator to a minimum of 2 bar as a starting point. Please allow the diffuser to soak in the aquarium water for at least 2h before pressurizing the diffuser.                                                 

Please note: In the beginning, the diffuser may release large bubbles around the ceramic ring. Over the first 24h of use, all the ceramic pores will fill with water and bubble size will decrease to the optimal size. Also, allow a few minutes for sufficient pressure to build up to allow the CO2 to begin passing through, it may not begin instantly.
