Bucephalandra 'Broad leaf' is a slow-growing rhizome plant with sturdy, broad foliage that adds rich texture and contrast to shaded aquascapes. It is best attached to rock or driftwood rather than buried; keep the rhizome exposed above the substrate to support healthy growth. Its compact form makes it well suited to foreground and midground hardscape details.
This plant is supplied as a pest-free in-vitro tissue-culture cup. The plantlets are grown in sterile gel and should be rinsed thoroughly with clean water before being divided into small portions and attached or planted in the aquarium. It generally adapts well to low to moderate lighting and stable aquarium conditions.
