Anubias barteri var. Butterfly

Anubias barteri var. Butterfly is a compact, broad-leaved Anubias with gently ruffled foliage that adds rich texture to shaded aquascapes. Its slow growth and sturdy leaves make it well suited for attaching to rock or driftwood; keep the rhizome above the substrate to avoid rot.

This plant is supplied as a pest-free in-vitro tissue-culture cup. The plantlets are grown in sterile gel and should be rinsed thoroughly with clean water before being divided into small portions and planted or attached in the aquarium. As with other Anubias, it generally performs best under low to moderate light with stable water conditions.
