2HRAQUARIST APT Aquasoil is the newest aquarium planted tank soil in the market. Choosing the best planted tank substrate is essential for aquarists aiming to create vibrant, lush aquascapes. APT aquasoil  is highly recommended for freshwater planted tanks because it offers high-nutrient soils that promotes healthy plant roots. This active substrates also contributes to the aquarium’s nitrogen cycle by supporting beneficial bacteria growth, which ensures stable water parameters and plant health​.

This new aquasoil was made for aquascapers, by the one who has researched a lot for aquascapers, Xiaozhuang (Dennis) Wong. With the ability to lower pH, APT Aquasoil is great for growing a lot of the more difficult/soft-water species, such as Eriocaulon sp., Syngonanthus sp., and many more.

Furthermore, although regular cleaning of substrate (via vacuuming) to maintain a healthy ecosystem is highly recommended, this aquasoil is less likely to break down like other substrates. Thus, the aquasoil will remain in tact, making less to clean up every maintenance session, and there will also be less organic breakdown, which potentially causes algae (thus, worrying less about algae). This is also very great news for those that keep Rotala Tulunadensis, Rotala Sahyadrica, and other species of plants that prefer a very clean substrate.
