2Hr Aquarist APT FixLite is the gentler targeted algae treatment for aquascapes containing sensitive plants. It is designed for mosses, liverworts such as Riccardia and Riccia, Vallisneria, newly trimmed growth, and other delicate species while still treating common nuisance algae.

How to use

• Pause the filter for up to 2 minutes.
• Use a pipette to spot-dose the affected area.
• Apply up to 1 mL per 10 L of aquarium water every 24 hours.
• Avoid spraying livestock directly.
• Restore filtration and maintain strong circulation and oxygenation after treatment.

For dense hair algae or Cladophora, remove as much as possible manually before spot treatment. Treated algae generally changes color before decomposing over approximately 3–9 days.

Important: If the recommended dose is exceeded, perform an immediate 80% water change.

Formula: 2.5% proprietary carboxylic acid formulation that biodegrades completely.
